AN ORDINANCE RELATIVE TO BATHING IN
THE RIVERS, PONDS, STREAMS AND
WATERS WITHIN THE VILLAGE OF NASHVILLE.
SECTION
1.
The Village of Nashville ordains that
it shall not be lawful for any person to bathe in any of the rivers, ponds, streams, lakes or waters within the corporate
limits of such village, in a nude condition in sight of any street, lane, alley, residence or other building.
SECTION 2.
Penalties for Violation: Any person, firm, corporation, or other entity who violates any
term or provision of this Ordinance is responsible for a municipal civil infraction and shall be punished by a civil fine
of $25 for a first violation, $50 for a second violation, and $100 for a third or subsequent violation and shall be liable
for the payment of costs in an amount of not less than $9.00 and not more than $500.
SECTION 3.
This ordinance shall take effect on the 15th day of August, AD 1888.
