Council Committees and Boards

Council committees are appointed in April of each year – members are current council trustees - appointments are good for one year only. All Boards have varying term limits and are council trustees and/or area residents.

MEETING DATES

COMMTTEES

Committee meetings are held at the discretion of the committee, Some Committees have opted to hold regular monthly meetings. Those that have regular scheduled meetings are listed below; all other committee meetings are posted at the Village Office at least 3 days in advance of the meeting date.

DPW – 1st Wednesday of each month at 6:00 pm

Police – 1st Thursday of each month at 6:00 pm

Policy & Ordinance – 3rd Monday of each month at 6:00 pm

All other committees meet only as needed

BOARDS

Most of the Boards listed on the previous page are joint boards between the Village, Castleton Township, and Maple Grove Township.

Fire Board – 1st Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm (Castleton Twsp Hall)

Ambulance – 2nd Monday of each month at 7:00 pm (Castleton Twsp Hall)

Transfer Recycle – last Monday of each month at 7:00 pm (Castleton Twsp Hall)

Cemetery – meet only as needed – usually every 3 months
