Planning Commission Minutes

Tuesday January 3, 2012

This is a continuance of the hearing from December’s meeting regarding the Planned Zoning Ordinance.

The agenda was read and then the hearing opened.

Opened the Public Hearing at 7:15 PM

Guests in attendance: Terry and Zoe, Ed Sheldon, Chuck Reid.

Beckett and Raeder were not present.

Guest will be allowed 3 minutes per question to speak.

There was much discussion regarding Article 17.B & D; Article 19.02.03.07;  and Questions on 23.04.F 

After everyone felt there had been adequate time given to discuss questions, the public hearing was closed.

Hearing Closed at 8:35 P M

Called Meeting to Order:

Attendance: __ Open Seat,   P Jim Erwin,  P Ron Ohler,  P  Orvin Moore,   P  Patti Branham,

P  Ron Bracy,   A   Audrey Potter

Motion by Patti Branham to approve date corrected version of the agenda.

Orvin Moore 2^nd the motion.

Unanimous approval.

Motion by Ron Ohler to accept previous minutes.

Orvin Moore moved to accept with diplomatic corrections.

Ron Bracy  2^nd the motion.

Unanimous approval.

Business Topics:   Discussion regarding the information from the Public Hearing, and decided to recommend to the Village Council the following.

Motion by Orvin Moore to make recommendation:

“We recommend to the Village Council consideration of the new ordinance with the additional changes to present to the Village Council by the First Meeting of February.”

Jim Erwin 2^nd the motion.

Changes in regards to typographical errors. IE: 15.1

Ron Bracy called to Question.

Roll Call Vote:  RON BRACY – yes, ORVIN MOORE – yes, JIM ERWIN – yes, RON OHLER – No, PATTI BRANHAM – yes, AUDREY POTTER – absent.

Discussion of proposed policies were briefly reviewed.

Discussion of application for Planning and/or Zoning Board briefly reviewed.

Will review further at next meeting.
