PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY PERMIT REQUEST

Per Ordinance 9-9-99-E - It shall be unlawful to construct or lay any pavement for any public street, sidewalk, alley, approach or other public right-of-way, to repair the same, to make any excavation within the public right-of-way, excluding snowplowing, or to construct any improvement within the public right-of-way without first having secured a permit from the Village.
And per the Zoning Ordinance Section 3.22e2 - No private street shall be constructed or utilized until a permit for the private street has been obtained from the Village.

If the applicant disagrees with the interpretation of the DPW Superintendent, the applicant may appeal the determination to the Village Council. Applicant must complete form ROW 002 for such appeal. Upon payment of the appeal fee, a hearing will be scheduled. Application must be presented to the Village Hall.
