MINUTES OF
NASHVILLE VILLAGE COUNCIL MEETING
HELD AUGUST 23, 2007
Nashville Village Council Regular session was called to order by President
Frank Dunham on August 23, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. in the council chambers.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
ROLL CALL
Present were: Mary Coll, Mike Kenyon, Frank Dunham, James Dunham, and Jack
Holden (7:20)
Absent: Richard Harwood and one open seat
AGENDA
Motion Kenyon seconded by Coll to accept the agenda for August 23, 2007 as
presented. Ayes Coll, J Dunham, Kenyon, and F Dunham. Nays none. Absent
Holden, Harwood, and one open seat. Motion approved.
MINUTES
Motion by J Dunham seconded by Coll to approve the minutes of the Regular
Meeting held August 9, 2007 as presented. Ayes J Dunham, Kenyon, Coll, and F
Dunham. Nays none. Absent Holden, Harwood, and one open seat. Motion
approved.
COMMUNICATIONS
Barry Co. Leadership seminar; Barry Co natural resource action team wetlands
information meeting
AUDIENCE QUESTIONS
Dan from Dans Appliance would like to have a sale in back of his store in the
parking lot or on the sidewalk in front. Would be on Saturday & Sundays only in
September/ October - Is there a green space in back of store? some but very
small - Council will look into allowing this may allow use of grassy area
beyond parking lot next to park

REQUEST TO OPEN BARRY CO CENTRAL DISPATCH PLAN FOR REVIEW
Discussion council has a few questions tabled until September 13 for more
information

COMMITTEE REPORTS
DPW Iron removal plant #1 needs to be replaced cost is estimated at $20,000;
Water tower tele-metric system needs to be replaced looking into cost on this;
Sewer discharge meter needs to be replaced cost is estimated at $2,700.
Parks/Buildings/Grounds need to meet there are surveys that need to be done
Policy & Ordinance just received the revised Street Obstruction Ordinance from
the attorney will be on the agenda on September 13 have not heard back on the
fire alarm ordinance.

F Dunham discussed information received from the Major Conference he attended.
Motion by Kenyon seconded by Holden to adjourn at 7:30 pm. All ayes. Motion
carried
